Description
The uncertainty of the pandemic is not going to stop Hospice & Community Care from holding one of Labor Day weekend’s fun-filled events. The Labor Day Auction will be held with a twist – virtually – and over a two week period. Now you can enjoy most of the benefits of the Auction for two weeks from the safety and comfort of home NOW thru September 15.
The energy of the crowd will be missed, but the Virtual Auction will still create a buzz of excitement with great items like hand-made quilts, jewelry, original artwork, vacation getaways, sports memorabilia and more. All items will be up for bid at www.LaborDayAuction.org. Please note that we will not be holding a Plant Auction or Used Item Auction this year.
Throughout the pandemic, Hospice & Community Care has continued to care for more than 600 patients and their families daily, and the organization’s need for financial support also continues. Proceeds from the Virtual Auction will help to provide services and support for patients and families who are coping with serious illness, facing end of life or loss.
